Tanto Tempo (a long time)

As always, I have let several months slip by without updating. Obviously, quite a few things have happened since the last post, so I'll start off with this, and go from there...

First, Jennifer (Baker) Golden and Brian came to visit us for Christmas! Since they were the first friends from Texas to visit, it was so much fun to introduce them to my life here.

We had Bellini's and appetizers in Rome....

We wandered through Christmas markets in Piazza Navona....

We had cafe' and afternoon snacks in Piazza Estachio.....

We opened presents together on Christmas Eve....

We tried Italian Grappa ( a super strong, dry, after dinner, liquore) at a restaurant near Lago di Bolsena. Since it was the day after Christmas, there was no one at this restaurant, so it was only us 4, having a great time next to the roaring fire.

and we had more cafe' in Siena, when we took a day trip into Tuscany.

Thank you sooo much Jennifer and Brian for coming and visiting us! We had so much fun showing you around and can't wait till the next time!
